I'm Joe Sagan, an independent RC products designer, and hobbyist based just outside of Chicago. I've been designing, and manufacturing RC parts since 2008. The story really began during a very stagnant period in the early days of FPV drone racing. The technology was advancing at light speed, but the actual airframes were all just copies of a quad called the Blackout, which was just two carbon fiber plates held together by stand-offs. That's when I decided it was time to raise the bar, so I broke the mold with an all new style of airframe called the EVO300. Design elements from the EVO300 are now standard on many FPV drone designs all over the world, and that project sparked my desire to look for stagnant areas in RC, and kickstart innovation by designing new products that shake up the industry.
